Nederlander Oven Beef fajita recipe # 7

Corned Beef Dinner

4 lb Beef brisked; corned, nobone
Water
1 md Onion; chopped up
6 Peppercorns
1 Bay leaf
3 md Taters; pared, quartered
7 Carrots; scraped
1 md Diet programs; cut in 6 wedges

Sizzling Mustard Sauce:
1 Egg; beaten
1/2 d Vinegar
1 tb Butter
1 tb Sugar
3 tb Well prepared mustard
1 ts Paprika

In a Dutch stove, or even large skillet with tight-fitting protect, protect meat with cold water. Include onion, peppercorns, and bay leaf. Bring to boiling stage; reduce heat. Protect pan tightly and simmer about 1 hour per lb of various meats, or even until fork tender. (Be aware: the particular meat must be covered with water during the cooking period. Include boiling water to replace what cooks aside.)

One-half hour or so before conclusion of cooking food time, table spoon off any scum and add potatoes and carrots.

Include cabbage 20 minutes just before end of cooking period.

To serve, piece meat and placed on platter. Remove vegetables with slotted spoon and place close to meat, or even serve independently. Complete Hot Mustard Sauce for various meats. Sizzling Mustard Sauce: Mix all components. Prepare over lower heat until thickened, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes. Makes 3/4 glass.

Nation Beef Ragout

1 1/2 pounds Lean boneless rounded steak
3 tb All-purpose flour
1/4 ts Sodium
1/2 ts Spice up, divided
Plant cooking squirt
1 ts Plant oil
1 1/2 d Chopped red onion
1 1/2 d Beef Brown Stock
1 c Prune fruit juice
1/2 ts Dried whole thyme
3 c Spherical red pepper, peeled/diced
1 c Sliced up carrots
3 tb Lemon juice

Reduce fat from steaks. Slice steaks into 3/4 ” cubes. Mix flour, salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper in a large, heavy-duty zip-top plastic material bag.
